Suzhou Gardens Visit: Bringing “Scenes in Motion” Back to Factory Routes

A study of classical Suzhou gardens and what their sequences of entry, turn, pause, borrowed view and departure can teach industrial visitor routes.

What we brought back from the field.

The lesson is not to make factories look like gardens. It is to design a readable sequence where people understand the company through arrival, reception, display, production observation and shared spaces—without interrupting production order.

Working notes

  • Visitor routes as a managed sequence of attention
  • Arrival, pause, framing and return-view points
  • Four Lines integration in industrial visits and brand experience
